Alicia Malone

Alicia was hired by FilmStruck, the TCM streaming service in 2015. Robert Osborne and Ben Mankiewicz's introductions were recorded by Malone to help her practice speaking them out loud in front of cameras prior to her TCM broadcast hosting audition. Following her appearance in an interview to be considered for a Turner Classic Movies host position in 2017, the network offered her a job in the January following the audition. Malone discussed the struggles that women face to face in the field of film in two separate TEDx talks.
